About Me

Hey, I'm Richard a frontend dev from Leeds, England. I have spent the last few years travelling the world, before settling down first in Kraków, Poland & then in Oslo, Norway.

I first started building web pages at 14 and later refound my passion in 2016. Working at Tagvenue as employee #3, I got to see what it was like to take a start-up from idea, to launch and turn it into the fastest growing venue search engine on the web.

Moving to Oslo in May 2016, I started to focus more on freelance work and worked with Oslo start-up Growthitude, and local business website provider vylocal.com

Skills

I’m at home with frameworks, but I really like to get my hands dirty and try to code things by hand, with as little code as possible, nothing makes me happier than optimising my code.

I’m all about semantics, clean code and of course responsiveness. I have an ever-broadening skill set and recently I’ve been digging into Node.js using Express and MongoDB, working with pug or ejs on the front end.

Below you can see some of the technologies I’ve had experience in.
